Report a Controlled Burn

THE ANNUAL GRANT COUNTY BURN BAN IS NOW IN EFFECT JUNE 1ST THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30TH.

Please complete this form to report a controlled burn and the Duty Officer will be notified. As a reminder controlled burns are not permitted at night or when burn bans are in effect.

* NOTE: This is not a permit to conduct a controlled burn.  This is a notification service to the duty officer that you are conducting a controlled burn.  Fire Dist. 13 may still respond if we are unable to determine a reported fire is your controlled burn.  Please note the person burning is responsible for insuring they are conducting a legal controlled burn.  For information on legal controlled burns please see our burning restrictions page.  If your fire causes property damage or generates a response you could be financially responsible for suppression costs in addition to any infractions or citations issued by law enforcement.
