Requirements
Fire Dist. 13 is seeking qualified, hard working, customer service minded men and women for the position of Firefighter, Cadet Firefighter and Support Services. Applicants should meet the following criteria:

At least 16 years of age -Dedicated, reliable, hard working and possess the ability to work as a team.-

Pass a written examination-

Pass a criminal background check

Pass a department provided physician's wellness screening

Pass an oral interview board

Obtain approval from the Board of Commissioners
As a firefighter you are a role model in the community. You get the chance to make a difference for your community as well as build long lasting friendships with your fellow firefighters. Volunteers are an integral part of renovating and updating equipment.
